Yeah, that's regular ham. What we call country ham, is a salt and sugar cured, delicious and dangerous delicacy that doesn't need refrigeration, and will kill you quick if you eat too much of it. It really has to be cooked very hot and burned a bit. I love it, but I only allow myself a little bit every couple of weeks.
You forgot to mention that you have to have red-eye gravy and cathead biscuits...the red-eye, country ham and biscuits are the king

My Granny and Mom cooked biscuits and gravy, eggs, sausage, and bacon every morning. None of those places could ever compare to their cooking so they're all just kind of okay to me.
You forgot to include grits....

Real Okies prefer Jimmy's Egg over anything southern (Waffle House, Huddle House).
Next in the chute after Jimmy's Egg are local diners and then its Waffle House / Huddle House in the pecking order for Oklahoma breakfast.

I will say, Patio Pancake Place in Salida CO freaking brings it on some breakfast. Especially when you’re still huffing and puffing trying to get used to the altitude

Sonic is an Oklahoma company. The headquarters is 15 minutes from Norman in downtown OKC. Stop appropriating our culture.
It’s an inside joke around here. Two guys on OT bickering to the point of calling each other out. This guy posts the address of a Sonic and says to meet him there in 20 mins. Now it’s a thing. “Sonic” on SC rant means asswhipping.

Count this Oklahoman out on Jimmy’s Egg. Blah!
I’ve yet to try Huddle House. Can’t comment on that.
For me in order:
1. Black Bear Diner
2. Cracker Barrel
3. Denny’s (one in Norman off 35 is amazing)
4. Neighborhood Jam (local chain, #1 for local)
5. Perkins (although not in OK anymore)

We have a Whataburger, that's all you need if you make the trip to Austin.

Whataburger is a staple here in Oklahoma as well. After a home win or loss, Whataburger is a must! Double paper wrapped burgers, crack fries, spicy ketchup, the occasional turnover. Man oh man!!!!

I stay in Texas a lot for work and whataburger ain’t all that

I use Waffle House as an indicator for the Rapture.
I know things are getting bad when the Waffle House has to close down.
