Right. A surefire TD pass dropped by Hunter with seconds to go in the half that would have pulled Tennessee to within 3 is "never in the game."

Wouldn't have mattered anywho.....we would've still beat that arse in the 2nd half.

Literally half of that 09 class will end up in the NFL.

The fact that this is funny to you shows just how ignorant you are of all things Mississippi State.
27 signees, 1 mlb(Billy Hamilton), so out of 26 we have the following:

Already in NFL:
McPhee
White
Cox

Will be in NFL:
Banks
Slay
Lawrence
Russell
Whitley
Boyd
Skinner
Jackson
Perkins

Borderline:
Bumphis
Sanders
Smith

If you were to rerank the 09 class based on actual college and (future) NFL productivity, there is zero chance that Mississippi State is outside the top 10 nationally. Not our fault Mississippi talent is ALWAYS undervalued by "scouting services."

AJ hit a ole miss defender in the chest with a pick six in the endzone that would have put the the score at 21-27 going into the fourth. But it didnt happen. I admit there alot of bama fans out there that think we cant be beat. But when taint gets a chance to make that huge play to win it, just dont frick it up. Or I might just die from hearing excuses.

Message board Bama fans... gotta love 'em. Nobody can beat the gods of football. LMAO!!!!!

MSU has:

Better overall WRs More

Better over all TEs

Better RB(if you go by stats and hell MSU is reminded of the stats of bama)

Better DBs (stats show that too)

Our OL is better.. they have allowed less sacks!

Do I need to LINK you to our God like numbers????

The difference between this years team and the previous State teams is that this one makes the big plays when they need them to shut the door or pull away. It happened against Troy, it happened against UT, it happened against AU and it will continue to happen this season. It may not come to that against Bama but if it does we have the men on the field who make plays when you need them.

This will be the best team you see in years. DWI, this is your first loss....it's coming, then you'll go straight back to mediocrity where you belong.

I didn't claim it was, my point was they never let the game get within reach because any time they pushed we responded. Good teams are defined by their playmakers, and for the first time in a long time we have playmakers.

Instances like the goal line stand at Auburn last year. The drive that died in USCe territory last year, the drive to put us in the Bama game last year, and the drive to put us there with LSU last year all failed because nobody stepped up and made the big play.

We do! Why do you think we are so excited about it?? If we pull out the W do you know what that means? Why would we not be pumped up about this? Our team is at the point of getting over the proverbial hump and games like this and LSU are the steps that have to be taken.

Sad that big plays were needed to shut the door and\or pull away from these lower tier colleges. Bama doesn't need big plays. They just string together several 'make that arse quit' drives that breaks the will of the opposing team's defense. Once that process happens, usually before halftime, the fight is over.

The dropped pass against UT changed the sway of that game. The dropped pick by Ole Miss did the same. You won't have that luxury on Saturday, every winning teams makes big plays or puts together big drives to win games. Just because you score after that doesn't mean it isn't a game changing drive, we have no idea what happens if the opposing team scores instead of you/us. If you don't believe the mentality of a team changes the way they play in college football watch the AU Clemson game and compare it to now, watch Ole Miss and Central Arkansas and compare them to now.

That excitement that you are tasting right now for the first time is awesome for you and the rest of the taint fans. I love you guys, your goodhearted for the most part and never have a lot to cheer about, but now that you have a little to cheer about, just remember Alabama loves football to this degree all the time. Ive lived on the mississippi-Alabama state line for 19 years and I honestly had no idea there was true Mississippi taint fans till recently. Its Cray Cray.

Because you can be beat, and frankly we match up well to what I have seen.
