Yeah, I believe that like I believe having unprotected sex with a whore suffering from HIV won't affect me.

Outside of the SEC, NOBODY is a fan of our conference.

I read your stuff on Tigerboard once in a while. You are way off base on this one and if you take that message board serious, first of all, and judge an entire fan base based off of what you read there, second of all, you are just doing it wrong and way way off base. The record number of donations to the AD as well as the increase in demand for season tickets is proof enough that this is a hugely popular move in the core of the fan base.

Pretty sad man.

Depends on your definition of belong. Sports wise, they belong as much as 3-4 other SEC teams. Fan/culture wise, maybe not so much.

By the way in Ancient Rome thumbs down meant they lived, thumbs up killed.

Nope. It's unknown what specific gesture the phrase "pollice verso" (with a turned thumb) actually refers to. The "thumbs up, thumbs down", dichotomy (in any variation) was popularized by the Jean-Leon Gerome painting titled "Pollice Verso", and the numerous films and novels partially inspired by it.

Both tamu and mizzou are little 12 rejects with sour grapes issues. At least when the piggies came it, it made a little more sense due to swc falling apart. Still don't understand the USCe addition. They seem to be more like mizzou in that way.

Yes, they belong!

Don't fret about anonymous posters, whether they be from MIZZOU or other schools in SEC. Everyone has their own agenda.

The court is out on the other 12 teams. We'll just have to see how the other 12 can handle real football.

I really don't understand it. My feeling is that they have been welcomed into the SEC with open arms, but from reading their board I also think that some of them are not too sure of the decision that was made.

Good troll but you messed up with the part in bold, as nobody can read that board without going blind!

Get over yourself. My family is full of Arkansas, Tennessee and Georgia fans. Don't be such a whiner.

Interesting that as you bash Mizzou, your name is one of our true sons.

You do realize A&M was the SEC's first choice when the SWC fell apart, and because of the texas legislature, the SEC had to settle for the piggies?

You do realize that A&M wasn't even the SEC's first target in the state of Texas right?
