Time will determine so.

since the filming of gladiator thumbs down has been discovered to mean the opposite, so you're basically saying YAY Mizzou!

I'm really starting to like some of these Mizzou yankees. They came in with all guns blazing and should be respected for that. Beating Aggy arse every year is also a plus. Here's to many more years of you guys beating the 'mighty Aggy' in their place...

Didn't like the Mizzou move to begin with but their posters here on the rant are very witty and they have grown on me also met a former Mizzou football player the other day here in Alabama that coaches a high school football team and he was excited as hell about the move as has the rest of the fans I have seen posting here on the rant. Welcome Mizzou !

You can argue that they don't truly belong and that they belong in a conference with Kansas, Oklahoma, etc, but they do make an okay fit.
I think it'll be Mizzou fans who have buyers remorse ten years from now. I don't see them ever being a factor in the SEC football wise unless they hire someone like Nick Saban or Steve Spurrier or even back in the day a Hayden Fry or George Perles or even a Pat Dye.
I honestly don't see Mizzou being a year-in and year-out contender in football in the SEC. Heck they could barely make a dent in the Big 8/12. How are they going to be a consistently winning program in the SEC?
Competition-wise they would have been better off in the big ten.

Yeah I don't ever see them winning an SEC Championship, maybe not even winning the East but we got Ole Miss,Kentucky, and Vandy. Mizzou can't do any worse than those programs and I think it will bring in a new buzz to the SEC at least until the newness wears off and they find out that they are and possibly will always be a 7-5 or 8-4 middle of the pack team, hell maybe even a 6-6 bottom of the barrel team if they don't get a good coach.
