Missouri came in at a good time. The traditional powers in the Eastern Division were down and rebuilding. I have no doubt that the traditional powers will soon take over the top spots but if you don't think Missouri won't compete you would be wrong. Pinkel is good coach and will always put a competitive team on the field.

Pinkel is old and won't always be there. It's ludicrous to make such a big deal out of 3 games. We've had several 10 game - or close to it - losing streaks to Bama. But then we come back and do the same thing to them. Seems like I'm the only one around with any historical perspective - cause I'm old, too!

To be honest I had already forgotten about them since they are bottom feeders in SEC hoops. I'm also getting excited for the upcoming SEC baseball season, where they are again bottom feeders. Once the East is back in FB, they will make it 3 for 3 and be the automatic win we all thought they would be when they joined

Cleared it up a little. Didn't fact check all of the records as most of them seemed to be wrong.

They are all correct. I went off of regular season records, didn't include bowls.

Yet your team is 2-3 against us in hoops since we have joined the SEC including a big 1 point win against our worst team in at least 40 years.

And we have 20 conference titles in baseball. From wikipedia you are at 4?

Well Missouri's were not correct and that was the whole point of your post. You would hope those would be accurate.

This is how Mizzou and the East will go for the foreseeable future:

Off season - Mizzou is not that good. Look at all the talent they lost. They can't compete with SEC powerhouses. All the preseason top player lists come out and where are the Mizzou players? I don't see any. They can't compete with SEC talent.

Each week of conference play - Mizzou can't beat *insert SEC team, because said SEC team is on such a hot streak right now. They're one of the nth hottest teams in the country. Actual game is played. Mizzou dominates and wins and SEC team that lost is now revealed as a big ol steaming pile of shite.

Also, a Mizzou player wins SEC DPOY every season. Half the time, he wins it despite being openly gay, which everyone knows makes you a worse football player.

Mizzou wins the East.

Next off season: Sure Mizzou won the East, but it WAS DOWN. Mizzou got lucky, and now they're losing all they're good players. They won't have *insert Mizzou player that nobody paid attention to during the off season but is now regarding as one of the top players at his position. Did you see *insert other SEC East school's signing class. They're going to stop sucking now and dominate the East for years to come!

Rinse and repeat for a good five to ten years.

2014 - A&M 7-5, Ark 6-6 = 13-11 like I said
2013 - A&M 8-4, Ole Miss 7-5 = 15-9 accidentally added 1 extra L.

You forgot to mention that Tenneesse had to play this juggernaut: 2013 (12-2), 2014 (11-3), and combined 23-5, while lucky Mizzou got to play this cupcake: 2013 (5-7), 2014 (7-6), and combined 12-13. Mizzou lucked out again.

Ah OK. No Bowl game records. We will count Alabama's win against Georgia State but not their loss against Oklahoma to show how tough the Vol's have it.

Yeah Tenn's opponents will have one more win and Mizzou's one more loss every season since they play head to head.

I can just about bet that I am older than you and I have never seen a program fall as far Tennessee fell and build back what was once a powerhouse program. Not saying it won't happen, but the chances are not in your favor. With recruiting the way it is now compared to what it was makes it even harder. Butch has had great success with recruiting the last couple years. If he can keep it up, UT football will improve without a doubt.

Just talking West schedules and if you think they are anywhere even close to even you are blind.

Missouri was much better than TN 2 years ago, slightly better this year, I expect that trend to continue and the Vols to be slightly better this year. But will be able to win in Columbia? Not sure.

We were much better than Tennessee this year. We dominated them head to head and had a much better record.

Mizzou and Tennessee head to head last season:

Total yards:
Mizzou - 410 (5.9 ypp)
Tennessee - 279 (4.2 ypp)

Rushing yards
Mizzou - 180 (4 ypc)
Tennessee - 53 (1.8 ypc)

Passing yards
Mizzou - 230 (9.2 ypa)
Tennessee - 226 (5.9 ypa)

Time of possession
Mizzou - 32:30
Tennessee - 27:30

Turnovers: Mizzou +1

Third downs
Mizzou - 8/17
Tennessee - 5/15

Sacks
Mizzou - 6
Tennessee - 3

Good job getting a TD to make the game look closer than it was, but Tennessee was out of its league that game.

Better teams play in much tougher bowl games. Bama in the Sugar Bowl and Playoff and Auburn 2 years ago in the National Title game and Ole Miss in a New Years 6 this year.

While your bowl opponents have graced the Texas, Liberty, Music City and Chick Fil A Bowl pre-promotion status.

I think those lists accurately show the gap in our West schedules the past two years.

But but they scored garbage points at the end and were on onside kick and 8 points away from tying us at home!

Domination??? Being a bad missed offside call on an onside kick away giving TN a chance to tie the game late is domination?

What the hell do you call what UGA did to you then?
