I sure hope Memphis wins. Ole Piss needs to go back to where they belong before Freeze got there. I'm still ready for the NCAA to bust their asses hard, it's coming.

It's coming? Or are you, just thinking about it?

Memphis gives them more than they want.

If Ole Miss wins, it's by less than 10 points.

Dead serious. I was at the Memphis/Ole Miss game last year. I was also at the Tennessee/Ole Miss game 2014.

I had more fun tailgating at Memphis.

I bet. Shows how much you suck. Also, of course you had more fun being at your home teams tailgating where you won vs your bandwagon teams visiting game where you got your shite pushed in.

You should go to oxford this weekend. You would have a horrible time

I've been to the Liberty Bowl several times. It's actually a decent area, and the area directly surrounding the stadium is very well taken care of.

Know how I know you've never been to the Liberty Bowl?

The area outside the Liberty Bowl known as Tiger Lane has actually been significantly upgraded. Growing up in Memphis and now practicing law here, I have personally seen the transformation. The tailgating along Tiger Lane and surrounding areas are well patrolled and it's a good time.

With that being said, I wouldn't go as far as to compare it to the tailgating and atmosphere in the Grove. The Grove, in my unbiased opinion of both schools is the gold standard of tailgating in the midsouth. Yet, as long as there are people having a good time, grilling/smoking amazing food, and taking part in plenty of libations before the game, then either way you look at it, its a tailgate prior to a college football game in the South.

I too was at the Ole Miss- Memphis game last year, and alot of Ole Miss fans were in Memphis tailgating as well. So, it was a pretty awesome atmosphere of both schools coming together to create a weird Grove-esqe atmosphere.....

I lived in Memphis for many years. That area is not that great and the area just on the other side of the overpass is real bad. South Memphis and Raleigh/Frasier are not even OK places. Now Germantown and Collierville and East Memphis, those are pretty good areas

The fact that the area surrounding Tiger Lane has to be "well patrolled" says enough to squash your entire argument about any and all improvement around Liberty Bowl Stadium. I'm guessing that's why they fill that 60,000 seat stadium with 30,000 fans.
