On any Saturday regardless of whether its Memphis or Ole Miss, it is "well patrolled."

I don't think your retort squashes anything. Vast improvements have been made to the facility and surrounding areas. I am not a big Memphis fan, and will honestly pull for Ole Miss Saturday as I played for Hugh Freeze. Memphis is still in a junior conference, and will continue to get 30,000 fans a game until or if they ever move into a better conference. At least Memphis has had a stadium completely bowled in for much of its existence (regardless of attendance).

Interestingly enough I saw an actual black white supremacist after that game.

Had a German SS armband on.

I had to do a double take.

I'm also an alumnus of Memphis too. So there.

and I'm a native of Memphis. The Liberty Bowl and the surrounding area is a dump. There is one side of the stadium that now has grass area for tailgating, but the Liberty Bowl is still a shithole. And go hang out a Toby Field down the block after dark and tell me the surrounding area isn't that bad or go half a mile north, south, or west of the stadium. Sure, if you go down Central for a bit East then you'll find some nice neighborhoods
