Wow lots of LSU peeps on the sec board this week, didn't see near as much flaming for ole miss last week. Aren't they a rival? Seems odd....

We'll see, you boys need to pray it doesnt come down to a clock management situation at the end.

You guys should probably still get the Capitol One bowl invite, which is a really nice bowl game, and if you have kids they get a chance to see Disney World.

4. Mallett missed all of spring practice due to his broken foot, so the vast majority of fall practice reps went to him. Consequently, the rushing game got fewer reps and took longer to gel.

Up until the Bama game, Mallett was being talked about in the Heisman race. Don't even try to use spring practice as an excuse.

Did you even watch that game last year? I was there, and if I was a Tigah fan I wouldnt be real comfy going in to this game.

I'm feeling pretty good right now.

Why's that? Florida and Ole Miss games showed he didn't learn from that incident.

You utterly fail at reading comprehension. You asked a question about our running game, so I explained why our running game struggled earlier in the year. My post had nothing to do with Mallett's performance--I brought him up to explain why our running game didn't get many reps in fall practice.

The INT he threw vs. Miss St. this weekend was when he was under pressure and he just tossed it. He loses his composure way too easily.

That pick was on Mallett, but it wouldn't have happened had the Wright not ran the wrong route. He never even LOOKED back until the whistle was called. You might want to look at Mallett's stats AFTER that pick as well, if that happens again maybe you guys could pick him off in the first series, fix his head, and then have him play lights out, you know...exactly like he did last weekend after that pick.

Deep down they're actually worried that they could lose to Arkansas. Hence all of the "we're going to stomp your arse" threads despite the fact that they barely squeaked out a 33-30 OT win in Baton Rouge last year against our vastly inferior squad.

if Mallett was a dual threat qb I would be concerned about the Arkansas running game against LSU. As it stands, I don't believe it will be a factor, and I look for the Arkansas offense to abandon the run completely after the first quarter.

Take it how you want, but the choke job is fact. Not a jab. He buckles under pressure, does he not?

You are obviously a football expert with keen insights. The Hogs can only hope that Mallet can perform half as good as Jefferson. Now that's a real QB who handles pressure with ease.

I did. Here are some stats since you seem to be remembering wrong though. This is what ya boy did last year.

17/39 for 227 yards 1 TD and a pick

JJ, however, went 17/25 for 179 2 TDs and a pick.

We have a much better pass rush this year and a much better secondary, yet Mallett seems about the same except he is throwing more picks than last year.

oh yeah, and we're usually good for a KO or punt return for a TD vs the hogs.

Mallet's great when he's untouched.

Knock him down a few times and he starts whining, complainging, and pusses out.

Passing offense:

Arkansas - #1 in SEC, #3 in the country.

Next highest ranked team is Kentucky at #20.

Mallett is BY FAR the best qb in the league, and one of the top 3 qbs in the country.

Actually Mallett has regressed and our offense is nowhere as good as last year. LSU shouldn't even worry about practicing for this game because all they need to do is show up and collect the win. After all, the Hogs' 2 wins out of the last 3 games was pure luck.

LSU clearly dominated last year’s game and I’m not sure how the Hogs got it to OT. Must have been luck or LSU was looking forward to, oh wait, we were the last game so I guess it was just luck. We are so outclassed playing LSU I'm not sure why the games have been so close over the last several years with the Hogs winning 2 of the last 3. How in the hell is that possible?

Maybe, that LSU isn't near as good as their ignorant fans think they are or perhaps Arkansas is better than given credit. Probably a combination of the two and the Hogs will win this game to make it 3 out of the last 4. That will really chap your coon asses.
