Now that is a legitimate, substantive response. LSU will have to play better defense against Arkansas then they did against Alabama. Mallet will need to play better than he has in the past against strong defenses. I wish your fellow hog fans would actually debate instead of attacking.

solid.

The endless stats that will be plastered from both sides this week will inevitably lead to this statement.

I don't care to debate with an LSU fan who says that Mallett is "unimpressive."

I pulled the rankings for the pass defenses Arky has faced:

UGA - 51
bama - 14
A&M - 97
Auburn - 100
Ole Miss - 98
Vandy - 96
USC - 104
UTEP - 74
Miss. State - 88

Against the highest ranked opponent...your QB choked the game away

Arkansas is ranked 3rd in the nation in passing offense and 8 in total offense.

LSU is ranked 4th in the nation in pass defense and 5th in total defense

2 out of 3 had a running QB. We aren't good at covering those. The other QB threw a pick and fumbled and was sacked numerous times. Also, we shut down their incredible running backs.

The same will happen to the hogs. Mallett will have over 200 yards, but will have some turnovers. Your rushing game will get shut down and you will lose.

Also, we had more yards than Ole Miss and Bama, so take out the Cam Pain train and our offense stepped up and scored points when we needed them.

Stephon LeFors>>>> Ryan Mallett

Two system quarterbacks.

You keep yapping about your new "great" running game and yapping about Jefferson, but why not question how is your D going to stop OUR running game? MSU abused you guys with inside power running when it counted most, why won't LSU? We have played the same schedule, save for USC, and we have the better record. Why should we be scared? Better yet, why are the Hog fans so scared that they start threads left and right trying to pump up why they'll win while leaving out what LSU does well?

That's just pathetic that UTEP has a better pass defense than half the SEC.
