Looking at the data, Tulane clearly ran the state of Louisiana.

It took 25 years for LSU to follow Tulane's lead and get their first Sugar Bowl win.

It took LSU more than a decade to just get a major bowl win.

During their time in the Southern conference, Tulane won 8 of the 10 matchups.

To be honest, the evidence is resounding. LSU owes its success to Tulane deciding they wanted to focus on academics.

Yep completely.

We'd be nothing if Tulane didn't gift us this situation.

I know Tulane was the one that left to be the smart school but glad LSU could produce one educated person.

Dont make us pull out data about the state of Mississippi. Justice for Nolan Wells and his family. Lane was right about that state. Stuck in the 1950’s.

Ole Miss’ season ends next Saturday, with a 24-year old QB in his 6th year, and all they can think about is Daddy LSU

The inevitable nose dive from Black Bear will be fun to watch.

I am failing to see the relevance of this post as it’s a pretty obvious assumption every program and institution’s current state has been affected in many ways from all types of decisions made before we were born.

So, Kiffin chose to be stuck in the 1950's for six years?

yes, and if I were an LSU fan, I would remain unfulfilled by any of the cheap success we've lucked into without having to compete against our instate brothers, who so nobly chose academics over meaningless sport.

I’m sure UTSA was a blast

They’ve won the same amount of Big 3 men’s natties as UTranny in the last two decades

Nowhere near the level of crime on campus as UTranny though…

Students getting murdered by the homeless on campus, students getting murdered by terrorists on 6th Street and students making the entire city smell like body odor…

They seem to be doing well on the academics side so it worked.

Tulane is full of Jewish kids from the East Coast who couldn’t get into a good school up there so they move down to New Orleans and pretend Tulane is some prestigious academic university.

Kind of like how Aggy and UTranny pretend to be the Ivy League’s of Texas while they have over 60k and 40k undergraduates

I for one, shudder at the thought of Tulane rescinding their loan of a competitive team to my beloved Tigers.

When I lived in Savannah my neighbor was some kinda marine biologist, he graduated from Tulane. The guy was a complete a-hole. Absolutely hated living beside him. Talked shite to everyone, was head of hoa and tried to make everyone’s life hell. For a straight year he had a complaint with me, where I parked, drinking and listening to music on my porch, grill not having a cover etc, thankfully some lezzies moved in across the street and he then focused his attention on them.

Tulane fans are massive pussies.

They try to act big and bad until LSU fans take over NOLA before they go back to their shitty apartments and weep away their sorrows in a box of whippets
