Does LSU Have a Future NFL QB On Their Roster?

If they don’t, LSU fans may be in for a long season.
As a P4 head coach Lane has won 10+ games 5 times, and every single time he had a future NFL QB.
USC: 10-2, Matt Barkley (4th round 98th pick, 11 year NFL career)
Ole Miss: 10-3, Matt Corral (3rd round 94th pick, 3 year NFL career)
Ole Miss: 11-2, Jaxson Dart (1st round 25th pick, current NFL starter)
Ole Miss: 10-3, Jaxson Dart (“)
Ole Miss: 11-1, Trinidad Chambliss (TBD)
Every season he didn’t have a future NFL QB he won 5-8 games.

Most coaches can’t win 10+ games consistently even with a good QB. Others can win 10+ with a good QB, not with a scrub. And then you have elite coaches who could put the punter at QB and manage to win 10 games.
But this post isn’t about scrubs. It is pointing out that Kiffin has won 10+ games only when he had a QB who was drafted in the 4th round of the NFL or earlier. He has only won 11 games or more when he had a 1st round NFL QB.
When he doesn’t have an NFL level QB - a top 10 college QB - he has historically always won 5-8 games.

I only looked up Kirby and Ryan Day b/c the others coached for longer and I didn't want to spend that much time on it. But Kirby never won 10 games without a 5th rounder or better. Ryan Day has never won 10 games without a 6th rounder or better (usually a first-rounder though).
So again, what is the point of this thread?

Then the answer is no, not in Leavitt. We won't win 10 games this year unless he gets a lot better.
To your other point about all these other coaches that regularly win games without NFL QBs...it really isn't a point.
