Does Kyle Field Still Sway?

With the new addition, does it still allow for the same amount of swaying like it used to?

Good question. The side with the press box (that swayed) was the side that just got demolished, so I'm guessing not.

East Side will.

South side has amplification vertically.

Not sure about West as it's in construction.

How much we talking? Buildings are supposed to sway some to help disperse the wind forces.

That doesn't look that bad at all.

The language in the codes changed a little regarding deflections but L/400 is still accepted as the limit for structures with masonry.

At 100' off the ground 3" of movement either direction is acceptable, so that means you can have up to 6" of movement.

The coolest part about that video is that the movement has more to do with the sound waves approaching the structures natural frequency. It's the same principals behind Tesla's oscillator that he claimed could take down the empire state building. My favorite thing about the oscillator is:
