BYU is a lot like Alabama's team from last season. If they stay hot like they have been, they can beat most of the teams left in the field. However, like Alabama last year, their defense is a bit lacking and they don't have a lot of size so they get abused on the boards at times.
BYU is both a great matchup and a scary one for Alabama. On paper, Alabama ought to be able to get a bit more defense and win a shootout. Considering the connection, probably apt, much like the Kentucky games this year. However, when you face a team that can shoot, you run the risk of just getting shot out of the gym.

I agree. Good news is BYU ranks 277th in 3pt shooting defense (35%) so hopefully we'll have a good night.

Yeah it is! And both benches are strong so when starters go out, the scoring should continue. Alabama ranks 6th in bench scoring and BYU ranks 14th.

A lot like last season. BYU is a power conference team in name only. Don't even try to play defense a lot like oats. Gimmick ball.”
