Most predictions I've seen this week had them in. Does this loss matter? Does getting run ruled matter?

I think they had a top 8 locked in coming into the tournament and don’t think this took that away.

Bama will still get a National Seed based on their season. A run rule loss won't help them but the committee seems to discount the SECT,

They arent good and literally are being propped up by their sweep of Auburn only

Swept Florida too earlier this year but I think a super is probably our ceiling. Great job by Vaughn getting everything he can out of this team though!!

I think it could matter where they fall in the Top 8. Auburn and UGA probably benefitted most from that loss because it either may have moved them up or provided more cushion for their top 8 positions.

Alabama is not on the short list of teams that might make some noise in Omaha but to pretend like they aren’t good after going 18-12 and finishing fourth in conference is pretty dumb. That would mean the SEC as a whole sucks.

Do sec teams ever get 4 seeds OU seems like we went from a sure fire number 2 to maybe a 4

Nah. The 4s are your auto qualifiers. If you aren’t a 3, you aren’t in.
(The Google actually says it’s happened 2X — gata in 2019 and bammers in 2014-ish)
