Jacobs does a good job of bringing in people who have been booted out of other SEC schools for illegal activities. No doubting that.

You'd need to look at all athletics at Auburn--not just the popular sports.
Without looking at the last Director's Cup standings or at any financials, I'd bet Florida--for one--is in a better overall position than is Auburn.

If we get Bruce Pearl or some other big name, you can argue Auburn has the best combination in the big 3 sports of football, baseball, and men's basketball. Malzahn, Sunny Galloway, and Pearl would be a tough combination for any other SEC school to beat
