Is offensive holding illegal? Is breaking a company rule about the appropriate attire to wear on casual Fridays illegal? Is giving suits to scholarship athletes illegal?

The answer to all of the above is NO. Breaking an organization's or sport's rules is not considered breaking the law.

Here are some examples of illegal activities:

1. Poisoning trees on someone else's property because you are unhappy with the result of a football game.
2. Shooting and killing a stranger because you did not think they were properly mourning your favorite college football team's loss of a football game.
3. Teabagging a passed out teenager in a fast food restaurant after your team just WON a college football game.

Jesus Christ. He was fired from Tennessee for NCAA violations. He had a show cause. Which makes him a risky hire for anyone, not matter how good of a coach he actually is. Now go back to ITAT with that mentality.

Quit being a douchebag loser. He didn't break any laws, but you are too stupid to understand the difference.

If you don't want to be called out for making a dumbass post, then stop making dumbass posts.

I never said he did. I simply said that he did something illegal according to the NCAA.

If you call pointing out the errors in your posts "splitting hairs", then I would agree with you.

You are backpeddling just like your idol little nicky.

This is my statement. I even suggest it was splitting hairs, but you just want to argue and use personal attacks.

Actually, this is the quote that I was responding to that you decided to defend. I don't see anything there where hairs were split.

But, continue on....

Illegal in the eyes of the NCAA...Pearl was booted from UT. That's pretty straight forward.

Ok, since we are talking about being straight forward, then what NCAA rules did Cam Newton or Nick Marshall break?

On the subject of administration, you only need to ask Tony Barbee how he was fired at API. Real classy!

At the time. Parents are now classified under the same rules as agents, so if you shop your kids around to schools now you can lose them their eligibility.

That is correct.

That is why I responded to this post:

with my question about what did that have to do with Bruce Pearl.

For those unable to comprehend, NCAA rules violations are not necessarily against the law....most are NOT.

It was a weak attempt to slap Auburn and I just pointed out the idiocy of the post. And then the updykes came to support their own.

One moron did say that he/she/it would never read another post by a username with Gus in it. If that was a joke, then I did think it was funny. However, if that was you being truthful (the more likely), then you just made my week.

I'm not supporting anyone. I'm talking in reference to Pearl and not Auburn (or what they may have or not have done). You're a hard head and seem to portray ITAT characteristics.

Okay monty, since I misplaced Tony Barbee's phone number and can't call him at the moment, please help a fellow out and tell us exactly what transpired in the firing of Tony Barbee. You are allowed (actually strongly encouraged) to provide any links to support your "perspective". I know YOU have the inside scoop on all things Auburn and welcome the sharing of your knowledge. TIA

I must say it warms my heart to have my alma mater's athletic administration's class questioned by such a classy, humble, teabagging, tree poisoning, fellow fan killing, crowd leaping fanbase such as your own. Keep us in check my good man.

Barbee stole money from Auburn for 4 years. It went down exactly like it should have.
