A win is a win. Not sure the point of the question. You must have confused my beat that arse comment to mean blowout. That wasn't the case.
If I were to list all of the narrow losses by Tech to UGA, you'd come back with 8 in a row, little brother, yada yada. In the end, they were losses and the series is lopsided.

This. Otherwise, I would not care.
As it is, I think a tech win may favor UA. If UA wins the IB and loses a close to semi-close game to a 2 loss UGA, they may get the benefit of the doubt à la the OSU in 2016.

I have always liked Georgia, no reason for me to root against them. Besides, if the Dawgs have a strong finish, they will likely get a top notch bowl which, in turn, would bring more money to the SEC. Geaux Dawgs!

Hey dawg, it's the only way we get to go to a bowl since Central Florida canceled our game. I hear if we win we get to go to the Head Hunter Bowl in Papua New Guinea to play Troy.

I hate UGA as much as I do Alabama but a loss to Ga Tech hurts us. This one time you need to slaughter Tech

I don't care one way or the other other than I want every team ranked in the top 8 outside of Alabama to lose one more game.

My father grew up a Ga Tech fan in the early 60s. He went to a lot of games in Atlanta. The only reason he is an Auburn fan is he followed his oldest sister to Auburn. She went from ‘68-71.
