Not saying he won't succeed. He should do great at arky before he is done. Didn't Petrino even make Casey Dick (not sure if he had another year after Nutt left) look good in his system? I am saying that he is a noob (in terms of starts). He may make mistakes (e.g. AU 2010) early on before he gets better. He is an unknown at this point.

so was LSU a good team or not?
Also is alabama's best win the win over arkansas?

I think arky made it pretty clear they weren't good enough to play in their BCS bowl.
Are you still upset you didn't receive an invitation to your favorite bowl game? I'm sorry! Cheer up! Maybe next season!
It was clear Arkansas was good enough when we beat LSU and got the subsequent invite.

and who exactly created that pressure? I mean you give no credit to OSU for the victory? This is just dumb.
Don't try to deny that you piggies choked. One of the main reasons that you lost that game was because of dropped balls. That is choking my little piggy.

No, our best win of last season would probably be the arse whipping we gave Michigan St. in the bowl game

Yes, even Casey Dick executed a pretty good passing game under Petrino.
Tyler Wilson will undoubtedly make mistakes, as will all other QB's. The question will be whether those mistakes are at times that they cost Arkansas football games. Only time will tell.

I would ask about arkansas's favorite bowl game....but I guess yall just dont like playing in any bowl seeing how it usually turns up a big L in the pigglet record.
Maybe next year focus on winning all games? Just not one?

Dont mind the piggy fans. They ended the year once again looking up at LSU who had a better record and finished ranked higher for the last decade straight.

^ LSU excuse #23943847 for why Arkansas beats LSU:
"Arkansas only focuses on beating LSU, LSU doesn't even care about Arkansas! That's why Arkansas wins!"
Are we done now? It's almost my bedtime. I don't want to come back on here tomorrow morning and see this same stupid shite (that I admit I've taken part of) going on in this thread.

Fact or excuse? LSU every year is Arkansas' super bowl. LSU worries about bigger and better things.
Probably why LSU has finished better than Arkansas the last decade, every single year.

You would rather your team not be good enough to be invited to play in a BCS Bowl just so you can assure a victory over a weaker team? That's just sad.
You have no idea if LSU would have beaten tOSU. LSU wasn't good enough to get invited to the Sugar Bowl, yet you assure me they would have won it? Ole Miss can make the same prediction and have it mean just as much (which is nothing).
I'd rather finish the season 11-2 and a bowl win than finish 10-3 with a bowl loss, yes. lsu wasn't winning the west last year after losing to auburn, so if we had to finish 11-2 i wouldn't trade the way we got that record to have a win over arkansas instead of a cotton bowl win. who cares if you went to a bcs bowl. you didn't win it, so it doesn't matter. if the arkansas was the difference in winning the west, then yes i'd trade it, but it wasn't

no their best win is a 49-7 drubbing of a top 10, 11-1 michigan state team

You seemed to be confused why no one takes Arkansas seriously.
Do something.

We went to a BCS bowl b/c we were the second best team in the SEC. LSU went to the Cotton Bowl b/c they were NOT the 2nd best team in the SEC. That matters. After beating A&M (which Arkansas did) and Arky losing to tOSU (a team ranked higher than LSU) by less than a TD, you think LSU's season was that much better?
If it's all about the # of wins, why don't we all just go Boise St and play cupcakes except one game a year?

But you don't win more than 37%. LSU wins 63% for the record (34-20-2). I admit we need to do better, but a 37% record is hardly grounds to talk shite.

The question should be will any SEC team have enough offense to move the ball on Alabama?
This defense has the potential to be the best in a long time in Tuscaloosa. Plus Arky comes to us.
10 starters back. Plus most of the backups and some massive JUCO newcomers to make a tough run D even tougher.

luckily TW has seen a much more hostile road environment in auburn this year, you bama fans should learn how to be loud like auburn.
