better so far, but aTm has a higher ceiling. More potential.

but I have to warn you that if you think that is as bad as LSU football will get in your lifetime either you will have a short life or one with major disappointment in it at some point.

Almost exactly a decade ago a Texas Ex that is a longtime friend told me something similar. We thought stealing a coach from Alabama was a slam dunk. College football goes in cycles, and there is always a downcycle waiting. No program can avoid it forever.

Well except those Ohio St. Mother frickers.

cardboardboxer, you think LSU/Les are helping aTm by keeping OU/Texas at bay? Les is eating Sumlin and Strongs lunch on the recruiting trail in TEXAS! I'd argue that you'd have 2 times the success as a program if Les was plucking all that TEXAS talent.

All Time

Head to Head-30–20–3 in favor of LSU

A&M
W/L 710–461–48 .602
NC's-3
Bowl-17–19 .472
Conference Titles-18
Heisman's-2
All Americans-22

LSU
W/L 762–401–47 .649
NC's-3
Bowls-23–22–1 .511
Conference Titles-14
Heisman-1
All American-27

The programs aren't really that different historically, stat wise.

42 more wins is actually quite a bit considering the amount of games per season historically

Speaking of which, is he really planning on earning an Olympic spot? I thought 2012 was gonna be his last stint with the national team.

I don't mind rooting for the Black Mamba when he's wearing
