Really? That’s it? Focus and believe?
I don’t know about y'all but I’m beginning to lose what little faith I had in him!
Guess I need to Focus and Believe myself!

DeBoer can get fricked. I’m tired of this gimmick. We need a coach. One that doesn’t shite his pants in hostile environments.

DeBoer has arrived at Ted Lasso bullshite. Fantastic!

Deboer truly is the idiot some of us feared would be.

I really do not understand how anyone can defend the Kalen Clown Show anymore.

Also kinda funny, I was reading this quote from Saban’s “How Good Do You Want to Be” book:
Like, sure DeBoer sounds a bit wishy washy, but it’s not necessarily wrong.
quote:
Dominant teams rarely are outplayed or outclassed, but they sometimes beat themselves. Just because you are dominant does not mean you are infallible. Remember that dominance does not mean perfection; a lack of focus for even a short period of time can cost you. Do not relax when you are far ahead or dominating your marketplace. That is the time to push even harder.

DeBoer couldn’t repeat that in a public setting if it was written down on paper for him. Stoo

No, hes not, but its not an easy task, and he has struggled with it a decent amount here, and that just isnt what we are used to.
Saban was the best at keeping players hungry and focused in the history of college football imo. After 17 years, our brains got used to that being normal. Makes it harder to accept.

Yeah, the hard part is facing reality: no matter who the HC is after Saban, they’re always going to leave more to be desired. I really don’t know what’s to be done about it. Short of maybe one of Saban’s protégés/former players developing into a coaching savant who is passionate about restoring the Saban standard.

Saban wouldn’t have been able to keep mercenaries who can transfer at will so hungry and focused.

I'd bet that he would do a better job than anyone else(in his prime at least.)
And its not like it's impossible for a coach to do in the niltransfer portal age. See: Cignetti.

He’d adapt. He always did until he was in his 70s and decided he was going to kill himself reinventing himself one more time.
