Are you aware that Como is located in the Little Dixie region of MO? Missouri is significantly less Yankee than neighboring Midwestern states.
Oh I am aware, and I’m sure several of the people doing the whole kick Mizzou out routine are as well. I was just saying I will happily endure it for the security of landing in the SEC. I personally grew up in northern Missouri and now live in Southeast MO. When people say Missouri is like 4 different states in one depending on where you are, they’re not wrong.

Right now, no.
If the ACC implodes, yes.

No, not really. I don't see the benefit unless it's just to block the B10 from certain regions but at this point I think the B10 has to figure out what their format is going forward before they continue to expand. The ACC has time to save itself.

I'm fine with either way. I don't think expansion will happen though because I don't see the money in it. The SEC won't expand simply to "keep up with the Big 10". We have a different financial situation with them owning the Big 10 network and us selling TV rights to other networks. Expansion is less profitable for the SEC.

The SEC will have to expand if they fall further behind the B1G in money payouts.
Those ridiculous buildings don't get paid by booster money. If you fall behind in facilities, it eventually affects recruiting and player retention.

100%. With the Big 10 being able to now offer compelling matchups across all 4 time zones, they will be set financially. At some point, the SEC will have to respond to keep up

It’s going to happen if the ACC doesn’t work it’s shite out, FSU and Clemson are the most likely

I actually do not think it's going to happen. I think the ACC doubles down on not letting people leave because it will be an avalanche once that starts.
Hats off to the Big 12 for finding a niche as the second tier 2 conference. The issue going forward is the ACC schools did not know that's what they were signing up for when they signed that insane deal.
Who would survive an ACC/Big 12 merger is an interesting question.

The ACC can't stop FSU from leaving. They're seeking outside money to help with buyouts. The damn President of the Board doesn't go running his mouth unless it's a question of when, not if.

NO. In fact, expelling aggy and Zou would be the right thing to do.
Not one day goes by we don't see a post such as this. But, alas, we're still here, and there is not a damn thing you or anyone else can do about it.
