It's all subjective, based on what you think MAKES a job a top job... but in my viewpoint:

Texas is THE top job (regardless of what Mack is doing with it right now.)

Ohio State is easily much higher up the list. Yes, ahead of Auburn for sure.

Tennessee... think the luster on that job has fallen a bit over the last several years. Borderline top 10 in my opinion.

I can assure you that I only know of 1 pasture in Brunswick and it is outside the city limits. Auburn has them practically on campus.

You don't see many coaches leaving Auburn to go to elsewhere so why not be a top10 school.

Usually they've shite the bed at Auburn is why they don't 'leave to go somewhere else'.

Alright the definites in no specific order, though it shows how dumb you are in both a historical and recent pov that would rank Lsu over Bama, but we will skip that ludicrously for a moment...

In the SEC alone...
1. Bama
2. UF
3. UGA
4. LSU

Then outside the SEC

5. Notre Dame
6. Ohio State
7. Nebraska
8. Texas
9. USC
10 Oklahoma

(again no specific order but all top 10.Then there are a bunch of other schools you could make an argument are just as good a coaching job as Auburn, close too, or even better...

Florida State, Clemson, TAMU, Tennessee, Penn State, Oregon, and maybe even Stanford and UCLA.

No, have you ever been to Auburn Alabama? It kinda sucks. Just a college town out in the middle of cow pastures.

Meh, it's been rated a top 10 place to live a few times.. It offers a great quality of life for a coach with a family.

Sure it doesn't have the bars that Athens has, but I doubt any coach is worried about the night life. It has a southern charm and close-knit small town appeal - that's what makes it unique.

ETA: Great deer hunting too right outside Auburn
