I already gave you from 2008-2013. Just stop shoveling once you've dug your hole.

One thing is clear from this discussion.

Georgia and Auburn....

AU sucked last year so you missed it.

You will see though in the next month...AU and Bama/UGA folks will start chirpin at each other.

yes or on par. which is in stark contrast to "virtually no recruits"

Dear God yall are hung up on that phrase. Ok fine..I TAKE IT BACK! I MISSPOKE! Let me try again..

As far as taking all things into consideration comparing the HC job at different schools, when it comes to Auburn, their instate recruiting ground is not as fertile as a handful of other states that contain coaching jobs that I would personally rank above Auburn.

Better?

That is fine, but their natural recruiting ground is centered in the 6th best state for football recruits, and borders the 2nd best state and the 4th best. Thus, your argument means very little to the discussion.

They are geographically as well situated as most other schools and certainly well enough to be top 10.

That's a good list. I only ask because LSU has some success in Florida and Georgia as well. Not as much obviously, but then we also have Louisiana and a lot in Texas so we're straight.

We will have anywhere from 13-20 Florida scholarship players at any given time on our roster. More than that from Georgia.

I know that, but I'm sure a lot of coaches would like having a bevy of talent in their own state. Not that they wouldnt' go next door, and I'm not saying Auburn sucks and isn't a top 50 job. I said they aren't a top 10 job, and that was ONE of the reasons.

Yeah, y'all definitely get good pull there.. :jealous:... It's ok though, GA and FL have kept AU competitive with most of AL's top 10 usually going to Bama.

6th best out of 50. What more do you want?

It may or may not be a top 10 job, it is a close call, but the lack of a rich natural recruiting territory isn't the reason or even a reason.
