Possibly..but he's still a fig.

This but we would've probably had it taken away for recruiting violations later on

If Kiffin was still at Tennessee, I'm guessing they'd be the favorite to win the SEC East this season. So I'd say it was possible.

It's still too early in his career to get an accurate gauge on how good of a head coach he is, though.

He recruited stars but i am not sure he could have put it together. Of the twenty- two players he brought in, only 11 are still on the team and nine were arrested at least once.

No. No one else has backdoored themselves into a HC position quite like Kiffen.

this is the bottom line - not only is he a mediocre game day coach if you judge by results on the field - he doesn't recruit nearly as well as his reputation would make you think he does

If never caught, he definitely would have had the talent to win a title. I say yes.

Yes. His staff was much better than AU's recruiting wise. The key would have been avoiding sanctions.

This call from the head coach should answer the question. I'll go out on a limb here and say no.

No.
I do believe Kiffin was a really good OC and he did have some great assistants helping him out, but I don't think he had the leadership skills and maturity needed to win a NC at Tennessee.

Going to say no to that..... His shite was getting old and ridiculous after a year on a SEC campus. I don't think anyone here, recruits included, would have taken him serious if he would have tried that shite just one more year He has a better chance in LA I still don't think he will do it there.

No.

Is he a talented play caller and recruiter yes? But, the guy is a dirt bag and he will never ever be able to escape that fact. Most of the great head coaches had to be pretty well rounded in terms of recruiting, not cheating, play calling, delegating and dealing with administration and alumni.

Kiffin may be capable of accomplishing one or two of these but the slime that covers him will always keep him from being able to have all of these attributes.

Look at his entire body of work. Coordinator at a school that won a MNC, but cheated to do it. Was fired by the Raiders in a very nasty and public way and then left UT in the middle of the night, and a cloud of possible violations in his wake.
This is not bad luck, and there is one common denominator the whole time and that is the piece of feces that is Lane Kiffin
