How do you get from Palos Verdes to USC in LA traffic? That looks like a long commute.

Good point

Looks like at least 45 minutes in ideal conditions.

With LA traffic….

Yeah... just what you stated.

I read an expose about USC, the PAC 12 and he was quoted in it. He didn't know about the impending desire to move by USC President Carol Folt.

So, yes he got a huge pay-day. And yes, he doesn't have to play the SEC [which we all know was something OU isn't prepared for].

But I laughed when it turns out he must have USC ready to compete against tOSU, Michigan, Michigan State, Wisconsin and Penn State.

My father and I discussed this last night... out of the frying pan, into the fire.

Hosting at your home is well within regulations; seems this will do the trick for recruits.

Will be a small story on LA Confidential when this flameout happens.
See the Steve Sarkisian story.

Compared to what he was living in Oklahoma, he has to be in paradise.

Is it just me or does anyone else think USC is no longer that good of a job anymore? Long time California residents are getting the heck out of there. The city of Los Angeles has lost a lot of its glitz and glamour, it is now the go to destination for all of the homeless. It's 2022 and USC is no longer one of the few schools giving out $5,000 handshakes to players, every big time school is! At midnight on Saturday night if there are no SEC teams playing I will tune into a USC game, there are usually about 12 fans in the stands. Coach Riley will quickly realize he left a school where the city shuts down for their teams game, to a city where a football game is the 5th most popular event taking place that day. Big time recruits want to play against the best, just as I thought big time coaches wanted to coach against the best.. Lincoln Riley you are now a very wealthy man, I hope all the money helps you live with the fact you wanted nothing to do with the SEC!

Yeah who wants a Mediterranean styled mansion when you’ve got Bastrop, Texas.

I’d rather live on an average house and acreage than a mansion on a couple acres. Much better quality of life imo

I wouldn’t mind visiting for a few weeks til the novelty wore off but honestly maintaining that beast of a place even with help sounds exhausting. Give me 2000-2500 sq ft with a walk in shower, large tub, big closets, souped up kitchen, large open den and a nice deck or give me death.
