Pretty great we have more SEC games but it’s an absolute grind.
Can’t tell if I prefer it or not to be honest.

I dont think anyone likes the sec having more control over the scheduling.
All I ever read is bitching about the schedules.

We'll hate it when all the SEC teams start coming up with 3-4 losses while Ohio State is 11-1 after an astounding win over Rutgers.

Id rather schedule an OOC versus Ohio State than get an extra shot at vanderbilt.
It is unbelievably stupid.

It’s more quality games and less FCS slaughters.

Actually, no.
FCS are still on the schedules.
And UGA is dropping our hand picked 2nd OOC opponents.
It is unbelievably stupid.

Genuine question from someone in a fake conference, do East/West wins factor into the SECC invite?
Team A- 2 losses, 1 West, 1 East
Team B- 2 losses, both from the West
Which one gets picked?

There is no longer East and West under the new format.

This was predicted and it’s not OSU I’m worried about it’s some trash big 12, ACC, or big 10 school that shouldn’t get in but does because they play nobodies in the bottom of their conference

And that would be right for the sport but the cfp committee already told us last year they don’t care about that

It should be the two highest ranked SEC teams too, not some bizarre abstract tie-breaker else don't have it.

No, it’s stupid and played right into Tony Pettiti’s and the B1G Ten’s hands.
Especially since the B1G never agreed to play one Power 4 opponent per team per year out of conference.

I mean sure but when was the last time y'all scheduled an OOC team with a pulse?

We currently have a home and home with Ohio State.
We just finished a 2 game set with Clemson.
And we face GT every year.
We have faced as many OOC P5/P4 opponents in the past 20 years than any other SEC team.
I expect Ohio State to be cancelled shortly.

The Saturday before the last Saturday of the regular season will be exponentially better and less shitty.

My proposal - a win against a non P-4 team does not count towards Playoff consideration while a loss to such a team automatically disqualifies you from the Playoffs. That would get rid of the cupcakes for everybody
