As the story goes, there was 1:30 left in the 4th quarter, it was fourth down and 5 yards, all Eli had to do was throw another classic Manning pass for an easy first down which would have put Ole Miss in position to kick a field goal to win the game.
Unfortunately, Eli didn't tie his shoe laces up before that play and managed to run into his own blocker before his left shoe's laces wrapped around one of the field sprinklers which threw him to the ground.

I worked at Cellular South and he came in to get an upgrade a couple years afterwards and I told him he was under contract when he wasn't. Because frick him. That's why.
