I'm pretty sure anyone who is drafted will be able to post. So I think you're good.

So when an Ole Miss fan makes the argument that we are better because we have a national championship, you DON'T say "You're the only school to never win the west."

And they can't even use that anymore, at least for now.

That's a pretty hollow moral victory until A&M is in the league for several years though

I would claim the hell out of a national championship. So no I wouldn't reply with that, although you've never been to Atlanta

What is this all about?
LSU and Ole Miss TIED for the S.E.C. Western Division in 2003, but the Black Bears have a big banner in VHS that falsely claims that they WON the West that year. LSU went on to win the National Championship.

Of course you're going to defend your boy from Pillow Academy, fugg him he cost us the sugar bowl that year. Lou Groza award doesn't mean anything if you can't make the wins that are meaningful. That being said he was a hell of a kicker and he is a really good guy. Party on.

Ole Miss was co-SEC Western Division champs. LSU hangs all of their division, SEC, and National Championship banners inside of their indoor football practice field. LSU hangs banners for 2001, 2003, 2005, 2007, and 2011 that say "Western Division Champions" because they went to the SECCG those seasons. LSU hangs banners for 1996, 1997, and 2002 that say "co-SEC Western Division Champions" because LSU tied for first in the West but lost the tiebreaker didn't play in the SECCG. That's how it's supposed to be done.

I think what he's saying is that some State fans would argue that they would rather have their 98 west championship than our national titles from the 60s.

How many of those are AP or Coaches Poll titles?

I believe that OM claims 3 titles from around that period (59, 60, and 62). The 60 claim is FWAA and recognized by the NCAA, so it's legit. The other two? Well...
