Umm... the NCAA definitely credits USC with a National Championship in 2003 as well as LSU.

I know Wikipedia is not always the most valid source in the world, but here's the 1st two lines of the 2003 NCAA football season wikipedia page:

quote:

The 2003 NCAA Division I-A football season ended with an abundance of controversy, resulting in a split national championship. This was the first split title since the inception of the BCS, something the BCS intended to eliminate

It's ok to admit you were wrong about something. I know we can be prideful people from time to time, but you're just incorrect here. It's happened to me plenty of times. Say you were wrong on this point, then move along.

So, a USC booster went in and changed that. Cmon man. You’re begging.

You'd better check the NCAA page, then, because it is clearly listed on it. For 2003-LSU, USC

I just gave you a link to the NCAA page where it clearly lists it as a shared title.

Actually 2015 but that was a bigger joke than Georgia being ranked #1.

Maybe we were #2 not 1 heading into the Bama game in 2015. Either way we were grossly overrated.

Mark Richt is closer to a championship than he ever was at UGA!

It's been so long since you guys were relevant that it's hard to remember.

LSU was #2 in the country in November 2 years ago . What is your definition of relevant? LSU has won an SEC title more recently than UGA has (2 actually), but I'm sure you knew that. And don't lie, everyone on this board are scholars on the history of LSU football. There are enough troll threads daily to support that.

Debatable, but at the same time I’m incredibly happy for him. Obviously, I’d prefer we win a NC before he does, but I’m not going to take a dump on the guy for being our 2nd best coach of all time and someone that brought our program back to relevancy.
