In rooting against bama vs Penn state, but only because my family is from pennsylvania.

I used to pull for some other SEC teams to be beat by OOC opponents but after the Gator Bowl I got back to the hotel room and logged on to see the MSU/Michigan thread. After seeing just how complimentary other schools fans were towards us I realized what the whole SEC-SEC-SEC thing was and why other conferences can't stand us for it. So now I pull for any SEC school against OOC opponent

The only team I hope this for is State, unless its a team that I roughly despise the same. Like if they were playing USC or Texas, I would root for State, but its rare circumstance.

Yes. Last year. Auburn to Oregon.

I hope to see both Troy and UAB victorious against SEC teams this year. Probably won't happen, but stranger things have happened.

Yes Frick Auburn and Frick LSU but mostly I just enjoy the meltdowns especially when LSU loses. Thet have some of the funnier quotes and back and forth. The OM game a couple of yrs ago was the beat melt I have ever seen.

My problem is that I can't just turn off the 'hate switch' at will. I fricking hate Alabama - why would I want to see them win? I hope Ole Miss never wins another game for as long as they are a division I team. I don't have it in me to just stop disliking a team because they're playing Utah and it would look good for the SEC if they won.

Only occasionally, and its nothing to do with the institution itself. I do enjoy watching Nutt lose. Sue me. I'd root against him if he coached the USA vs Afghanistan.

I lived in Austin for a summer and Clemson played at Baylor in the Super Regionals. I actually pulled for Clemson, frick those Big 12 Pricks.
I hate Clemson and the ACC, but there was something about pulling for a team from home.

I hope every damn "other SEC team" loses and loses ugly. A few Auburn fans tried to start that "SEC! SEC! SEC!" crap out in Glendale... it started weak and ended quick after they got a good dose of STFU from the majority of Auburn fans there.
