It’s very situational, certain teams you pull for bc it helps strength of schedule, some you pull against bc it helps natty aspirations. In short you want the bottom of the conference to destroy out of conference foes. you don’t want your backyard competition to go into the off season with all the recruiting hype

People are so f’d up here. They want to claim the SEC is the best conference and they pull against the teams in bowl games…

Cheering for or against a team doesn’t change how good a team is. You can root against uga all you wanted this year and they’d still be number one heading into the playoffs

Has nothing to do with the SEC. But this year I’m rooting for TCU and Ohio State…for the chaos

Honestly, it depends on the team. It's case by case, not a blanket answer.
I rarely ever want UF or UT to do well. I'd generally cheer against them unless they play GT (who lies and cheats and needs to lose every game).
Bama and Auburn are kind of "meh". When Auburn was doing well, I wanted them to lose. Now I'm not really moved much one way or the other. Bama largely depends on who they face. I support them over other big name teams, but I tend to support the smaller name bowl teams over them. I'll take Bama over OSU or Clemson... I'll take Michigan State or Washington over Bama.
Most of the other SEC teams I support in playoffs or bowl games.

Mostly. In 2019 I wanted LSU to win it all.
I didn’t want Georgia to win it all last year, but I expected them to beat us in the finals because I thought they had a better team, so I was fine with it.
But, hell will freeze over before I want the stinking Vols to win any games, much less a natty. Not as enthusiastic when it comes to the barn. I’m fine with them beating a few teams…..just not an SEC title or a natty….or us, ever.

I cheer for Alabama every time they play. I cheer for Georgia when they aren’t playing Alabama because my family heritage is in that part of Georgia and I grew up listening to the GOAT, Larry Munson. I cheer for any team Mike Leach is coaching if they’re not playing Alabama because he’s a national treasure. Otherwise I’m meh, SEC or not and that includes Auburn, and just want to see a decent game to entertain me.
So to actually answer the question, I will be cheering for Georgia in the playoffs, Alabama and Mississippi State in the other games, and will be meh on the other SEC schools.

Usually, along with bowl games or any out-of-conference matchups. I'm not always sad when they lose, either.
It's more of a regional pride thing, I think.
