Do You Associate a Tiger or an Eagle Most with Auburn?

Why doesn't Auburn rebrand itself the War Eagles? It's a much more badass representation for them. Literally no one thinks of a tiger, which is most associated with LSU in college sports, when it thinks of Auburn.

Because the tiger mascot comes from the same poem that gives the city (and the school) its name.
