OUs defense is much much worse this year. I don’t doubt they would put up some points on Bama or Georgia but you can still get blown out scoring 35 points

Yes. Like I siad, some fans here will show bias.
ETA: just because my schools defense sucks this year, doesn’t mean I don’t know what good defense is. I’m a Jags fan as well, and we had one of the best defenses in the league last year. The entire point of my post was to say I’m entertained, and if you weren’t you probably got personal bias.

Cant disagree but i have a feeling they'll thump my Horns next week and end up in the CFP again.
I like some defense myself & I hate OU.. but their about to finish a fourth season ranked top 5 and that's no joke.

The OU defense is loaded with 4 star top 300 guys and some 5 star guys sprinkled in. It’s the scheme that makes them so bad. Hopefully the fix is coming next year on that side of the ball with them hiring Golding away from Bama.

Meh. Most SEC fans would hate to watch a 4 hour conference game. Truth is, I really miss when we had a good defense. Kyler has been fun but all that offensive performance has prevented is a 4-5 loss season.

I do find it more entertaining but, after 2-3 shoot out games in a row you become "numb" to the big plays and the high score feel less impressive. I think it's entertaining because it's some what out of the norm

I find it boring as hell.. but it's modern football. The rules have changed so much that it's turned the game into something very different and I have a hard time understanding why anybody would pay money to sit in the stands for 4+ hours watching this.
But make no mistake, the SEC is heading in this direction. Alabama is slowly making the switch and the rest will follow or get destroyed. The current rules of the game promote this kind of football and teams that focused on defense will get left behind.
On a separate note, with all the rule changes with kick offs they aren't worth watching anymore either. It's kind of funny watching the crowd get pumped up for the start of the game, ball gets kicked and the other team fair catches it on the 3 yard line so that it comes out to the 25. WTF is that. Then the crowd gets real quiet.. I laugh at that shite every fricking time.
