Do we finally see the end of cowbells at Miss. St this year?

I'd say it's a possibility. Depending on how the Felony assault charges with the whole lethal weapon thing shakes out.

I don't either, but the Starkville police department named a cowbell a lethal weapon. You'd have to imagine that there are some legal issues with letting cowbells in from now on.

I agree.

If you've ever been you know the pain.
If not, don't go.

Haven't been. It's still pretty painful watching on TV though.

There's a reason that the Home team has won every egg bowl game since 2002.

Davis Wade was louder for Ole Miss this year than Tiger Stadium for the 08 Bama game. As a fan I couldn't think. I left the game with a migrane.

I went to Starkville back in 99 or 00. I can't remember which.
Anyways It wasn't nearly as bad back then.

Until this year, State got no where near their capacity average. As long as State is bad, the cowbells aren't an issue.

When their fans show up they have the biggest home-field advantage in the SEC.

Take away their cowbells and they'll bring air horns

A couple Ole Miss fans brought air horns to the game this year.

As long as it's a one time thing go for it. But the cowbell "tradition" is just retarded.

It started after a cow walked on to their field during a game.

Gotta love state.

How common does it have to be for a tradition to be created from a cow roaming around campus?

I'd imagine that it's happened more than once in Starkvegas.
Place is a joke.
