I hate Florida, but UCF has been offered a 2-for-1. And that's generous when you think of what other programs in your spot did in the old days to earn their place among the haves.
Florida State played at LSU five years in a row from 1979-83 and then came back and did another 2-for-1 from 1989-91. The Seminoles also played road games at Michigan, Notre Dame, Pittsburgh (back when Pitt was a power), Nebraska, Ohio State and Auburn, to name a few.
Boise has played some neutral site games, too. Don't act like no team will schedule you. Grow a couple, go play where you have an opportunity and beat someone. Do that, then come talk. Until then, go away and be quiet.

My question is why in the hell would UF even offer a 2 for 1? with most D2 programs we schedule it's 1 and done. Playing in Orlando would be like traveling to Idaho, or Colorado State. UF is too big and too prestigious to travel to a program like UCF directional college.

Know your place and pay your dues. When your undefeated team is on the way outside looking in of a 4 team playoff, it's time to swallow your pride and realize you just aren't there yet.
Ucf is not in position to dictate terms to mid-tier Power 5 programs, let alone one of the winningest overall athletic depts in the ncaa.

We really don't even want to give Miami a home and home because their fans are so weak. I get that UCF is wanting to build their brand and playing Florida would help, but this isn't politics and we don't give a shite how much they whine about it to the press.

As are Northern Illinois, okie lite, and Utah.
The difference being that Okie Lite and Utah (who paid their dues after a similar situation to UCF and earned a power 5 conf bid) have a seat at the table.
Not the head of the table, but they still have a voice that can be heard and would be recognized if undefeated.
