NIL is another nail in the coffin. You’re already starting to see little signs of the effect on recruiting.

NIL won't have as much of an effect as Aggie is praying it does.

We have more high school talent in Louisiana. We have less people in Louisiana.
I’m willing to concede to that the definition of per capita has changed, but you’re going to have to help me out here lol

Louisiana produced at least 1 Super Bowl starter from a high school New Orleans to Lafayette only for 16 Super Bowls in a row, some SB’s with 5 or more (NY Giants vs NE Patriots 2008).

Louisiana produces 2X per capita than TX. 110 D1 players from 10,000 HS seniors per year vs 330 D1 out of 50,000 HS seniors in TX.

If u ever get chance to go to SEC HoF in Atlanta, display there says so too.

You can predict future, and corn dog BS is how you use it? Your genie should be pissed.

In fact, Nick Saban has signed 3 total 5 stars out of Louisiana since he became the head coach at Alabama.

Maybe he doesnt really want them. The record seems to indicate they arent very good once they hit college.

Enh... Louisiana produces a metric butt load of football talent. Yes. LSU can go the way of the dodo bird and by golly Coach O seems the man to lead them there... But any vaguely decent coach can return them to respectability in short order.

Forget Texas, as of right now Louisiana is the best producer of college football talent.

Typical dumb gump thread

Nick saban hasn’t landed a Louisiana recruit LSU wanted since 2019 and that was Sopsher and we all know how that turned out. Orgeron has literally landed every 5 star since taking over.

Sark hasn’t even recruited the state of Texas well this cycle. Even losing battles to Baylor and UNC for kids on the trail. So all of a sudden he’s gonna out recruit the guy who’s had multiple straight top 5 classes?

Lincoln Riley and Oklahoma? How could they raid Louisiana when they can’t even get the top guys in Oklahoma to stay? Guess a kid from Louisiana would magically just go to Norman Oklahoma...lmaoooo

Holy shite dude, just google the word. The definition has never changed, especially since it's Latin. It translate to per head/person.

So while Louisiana has the highest football player per capita, it just means out of every 10000 people in your population, 1 of them is more likely to be a football player than other states.

It doesn't mean more overall.

Easy example. Lets assume State A has a population of 5000 people. State B has a population of 10000 people.

If they both had the same exact number of players per capita, then State B would have twice as many players as state A, even though the per capita is the same.

Meanwhile, if State B had only half the per capita as State A, then even though it has twice the population, they would both have the same amount of players.

So while Louisiana has a higher per capita than Alabama, because of the population number difference, it works out to being about the same in the overall number.

Meanwhile, states like California, Texas and Florida who have lower per capita are still the biggest states for recruiting due to their huge population numbers.

Bro. We have more high school talent per capita and more total. That’s the whole point. Both metrics favor us lol.

I know what per capita means. I’m confused as to why you think it helps your argument. Haha

They're the only P5 program in a state loaded with talent. They aren't going anywhere.

While not a 5* LSU must be loaded at ILB for them to not want a future 1st rounder like Christian Harris

Weird way to cope.

LSU fans don't seem to understand what per capita means. When it comes to overall talent numbers, the 2 states are similiar.

LINK

Here are the stats for the NFL in 2020. LA had 59 and AL had 60. I think based on the 2020 census, Alabama has about 368,500 more people than LA, so per capita LA slightly out performs AL. AL has 5,030,000 and LA has 4,661,500.

Be an interesting stat to look at when final 2021 NFL rosters are set.
