I think some of our fans believe we could and someday will have the success that Bama is currently experiencing. Most of us, though actually realize that no one has ever had the success Bama is having, and it'll be a long time, if ever, someone dominates like this again.
All that said, we deserve a coaching staff that can put a competitive offense on the field.
Instead of getting better, our offense is getting worse each year.

Christmas?!?!?! If he's not gone before Halloween our program is dead anyway. Who cares about recruiting? 12 years of top-5 and top-10 classes can't produce a win over a team that hasn't been in the recruiting top 20 since they started ranking recruiting.
If you hate LSU, you want Les Miles to stay. If you don't, you don't. It's really that simple. Any fan of Les Miles is not only no fan of LSU, but actively hates LSU. We know there are many people in that category. Hopefully we will be firing the one that sits in the LSU President's chair when we are cleaning house.
Bobby Jindal is the biggest enemy of LSU in the history of the school. Unfortunately, LSU fans were stupid enough to vote for him TWICE. In 8 years, he appointed a board of supervisors whose only reason for existence is to destroy the very school they are supposed to be running.
A lot of people who call themselves LSU fans hate LSU more than Satan himself. Fortunately, they are keeping pretty quiet right now. They know that the actual fans of LSU are finally, maybe, starting to see them for what they are.

This is an insane statement! Do you realize that just over 24 hours ago at about noon Central Daylight Time that Coach Miles was not only considered to be the best football coach that LSU has ever had.
Not only that, he was also being hailed by LSU fans as brilliantly assembling one of the most talented coaching staffs in history: Aranda, Orgeron, and I'm forgetting somebody else. You see, Miles is the CEO, they said. The brilliant subordinate coaches would make the magic happen.
About 24 hours ago Miles had built LSU into a Top 5 national championship contender, but, tonight, if you are a Miles supporter, you "actively hate LSU"?
Do you realize how insane you seem when you make a statement like that?
A word about "melts". Every fan base melts. New York Yankee fans, Alabama fans, New England Patriot fans all melt. Melts are fun. No shame in melting. I'm not making fun at LSU's expense by drawing attention to the melt.

I'm all for firing les but firing him in 2012 would've been retarded one year removed from an sec championship. He should've been fired last year and needs to be fired this year barring a miraculous turn around a la 2014 Ohio State.

That was not LSU fans. That was the same group of idiots who claim to be LSU fans and either drink the koolaid or want the program to fail. Those of us who actually saw reality knew way before yesterday that Miles needed to go. I knew in 2009. Others figured it out in 2012. More have trickled in over the years since. The LSU fans who came here touting LSU as a contender are about 1% of the fan base, even of the fan base on this site. Choctaw et al are not, never have been and never will be LSU fans.

The word "melt" is overused. People are "melting" over Obama, Clinton, Trump and a million other things. Calling out something that sucks isn't melting. It's calling out something that sucks.
