No intelligent LSU fan thinks the game was fixed.

The polls going into bowl season? That's another issue............

If it was fixed, from what I saw LSU threw the game. The penalties for doing something like that are so incredible that it boggles the mind it would be attempted.

Could someone say the refs were bought off? I just didn't see it. LSU got away with a few just like Bama.

I absolutely don't think the game was fixed, but I do know that the team I saw playing Monday night is not the same team I watched all year long. Not taking anything away from the tide.....

Our offense in '08 was tremendous. I think you mean our offense in 2010 and most of 2009.

Oh, STFU...

No it's not.

There are a few on there that might think it, but to lump the whole board in that group is patently absurd.

Depends on how you define fixed. I personally have never seen ESPN lobby so hard for a team as they did for Bama. I think they virtually fixed the matchup.

I don't believe the game itself was fixed.

Rummel, is Elleshoe banned? I haven't seen him post anything in a few days and I thought he'd be around for the basketball thread.

Absolutely NOT. Our only excuse; different from the NOV 5th win, it that on January 9th, we were NOT the better team. No more than on Nov.5th Bama was NOT the better team.

NO it was OFFENSIVE. THAT was the year poor Andrew Hatch (who probably shouldn't have been a starter) got hurt at Auburn I think and Lee came in and won the game.

THAT was the year of the pick 6s.

I'm a girl and I know this ... how long have you been on the bandwagon???

Do you disagree with the sentiment that Alabama and LSU are the two best teams in the nation? If you don't disagree with that statement then there shouldn't be a problem with Alabama making the game.
