In the first game that mattered. Unless you are saying that at that time the game didn't matter.

Unranked 2007 Arky says the same thing.

I always hear Arky fans bragging about that.

True, but that as after the fact. At that point in time it was "the game" and the only game that mattered.

The point is that the best team does not all ways win Championships. They are the best team that night against that opponent at that time. That goes for any championship in any sport.

So congratulations to Bama they were, by far, the best team in the "championship game" that night. So enjoy it.

Yes some do and so do some Kentucky fans. Those LSU losses will all ways be on the record books and on that day they were the better team than the "National Champion". It's fun to go around and claim a "National Championship", but on any given night almost any given team can beat that national champion and I don't care who that national champion is.

What have I done to be considered a sore loser? What I posted was true.

Congratulations Bama you won. Maybe the Bama fans need to stop being sore winners. I remember quite a few sore loser Bama fans on this site after the Nov 5th game. Hell, the tidefans site banned LSU psoters. If that is not the epitome of a sore loser I don't know what is.

I know that you being and Aggie winning against good teams is like an impossible dream, but with that said. I am not naive enough to think that when LSU won their last two National Championships that they couldn't be beat by another team. Hell they were beat by one team one year and two teams nexy year. They won that night against the team they played. That is one of the reasons I am not a big proponent of a playoff. The best teams don't all ways win in tournament style play and that is what a play off really is. So even the poor runty Aggie would a have a chance.

Dude, I'm just laughing because it sounds like you're being a sore loser--surely even your challenged Tiger brain can wrap itself around that.

No, I'm no insinuating that even the National Champion could be defeated any given night. The thing is, a true champion comes through when it matters most. That's what a playoff does--produce clutch winners.

Being a sore loser? How? Bama won. They were, by far. the best team that night. I am not denying them their "national championship".

Sounded like you were. Look, I get it--y'all were better than Bama Nov. 5, and they were better than y'all when it mattered. Bama's not infallible, but they did deserve all the accolades of being a national championship after the way they won the title game. It's all good though.

And for the record, I'm fully expecting A&M to get its arse beat against both teams next year. Still gonna be fun to play the national champions and host the runner up the same year though

Fixed? No Broken? Yes

In the total of 4 years we've had JJ, I can just remember a couple of games where we got the superior type performance LSU deserves from its quarterback. The weak link is now no more.

Yes. LSU stunk up the dome. Good luck to y'all next year. I hope you go 6 and 1 in the west.
