So, you ask a question and are provided an answer. You do not like the answer, claiming that you are not even going to read it, and dismiss it as "player speak."

You assert they received some pay or they wouldn't play and imply there is no way of knowing.

There's a couple of opt outs but that seems to be changing under Kelly.

Jay Ward declared for the draft but is playing.

Kayshon Boutte is staying for his senior year and playing when pretty much everyone expected him to go to the NFL.

Derrick Davis is actively in the transfer portal but will be available for the game as well.

Nah...Bammer bought them both huge insurance policies and probably paid them 6 figures each for this one game.

Both wanted to play the game. Saban said the school made sure there were adequate insurance policies in place for them to be able to do it.
