3 Olineman out, 4 receivers gone yet they’re two best players are willing to risk injury vs a very hungry KSU team, doubt it.

Anderson and Young told reporters that they're trying to set an example of leadership and accountability for their Alabama teammates to follow once they're in the NFL.

"I wanted to finish with my teammates this season," Young said. "There's been a lot of work that's gone into this year, and I just get another chance to play with my brothers. That's really how I look at it. ... We've all had each other's backs all year. It's been about accountability, about making sure we're holding ourselves to our standard. That's a word that we all live by, that I live by."

Anderson, who both won the Bronko Nagurski Award as the nation's best defensive player and was named the SEC Defensive Player of the Year for the second season in a row, offered a similar rationale for his decision.

"It was all just about the leadership and being here for the team," Anderson said. "I've been preaching so much over these last two years about how to do things the right way, the standard around here, and how to uplift and uphold the standard. And it wouldn't be right for me to just walk out on my teammates."

They are probably getting paid to play the game.
And more importantly, I bet they are fully insured for the draft.
The insurance is the big money and why they are out there.

Has doing the right thing gotten so rare that we have to find an alternative motive?

Why do LSU fans care so much about Bryce playing?

Lol. You ask a question and are provided responsive information that you say you aren’t going to read (which you obviously did read anyway). Sounds like your mind is made up and you know the answer to your question so why don’t you enlighten us?

IIRC, most of their guys played in the Cap One Bowl against Michigan in 2019 too. It was impressive.

I think so.

Major college football has become so inundated with money at all levels that we can only assume star players actually participating in a "meaningless" bowl games are being paid to be there.

That's because your built like a pussy.

Some men finish what they started. I applaud both of them and if I was an NFL team I would love this.

Do you doubt that they are fully insured for the draft?

I know it's fun to take digs at bama when we can since those opporunities have bene rare over the last decade, but it's impossible to hate on dudes that think this way. Stuff like that is what CFB should be all about, and if everyone thought the way these guys do you'd never hear a peep about bowl games being meaningless anymore.

They have multimillion dollar injury insurance. If I’m not mistaken in his presser after they announced they were playing Saban said the school provided it. However I believe their motivation truly is to honor their commitment to their teammates, to finish with them. High character guys. May sound cheesy but I believe them.

OP seems butthurt 2 college dropouts are choosing to work... and make more money than him. Quite the look you've chosen.

This will be Sabah’s final game. That is why these underachieving losers (G5 Willy and Bedwetter Bryce) are playing.

Multiple sources have confirmed this per WBT Sportz.

Because they truly believed that Bama would become Opt-Out U like LSU if they failed to make the playoffs. They struggle with the fact that many of their stars see LSU as a path to the NFL more than a place they love
