The only time LSU has had pom poms is when the school puts them out on the seats in the stadium...and there's been enough backlash on that it hasn't been done in many years.

All of the pom poms you see in Bryant Denny, are they passed out at the gate or are they brought in by fans on their own?

I've seen both. Lots of people bring them in. But I've seen them laid out on the seats too.

For the big home games, the University puts one in each seat. For other games people usually bring them.

I despise pom poms and the new towel trend. It cuts down so much on crowd noise because people don't clap, the instead wave a towel (0 noise) or shake a damn pom pom which makes virtually 0 noise.
