I don't dislike him. But what difference does it make? Dude has a business and he's businessing.

I like his site.
I don’t like the mods on his site.
Sometimes he can be a cry baby. (A&M got shaft on CFP, bad call, etc)
He’s built TexAgs into a huge success and he deserves credit for his hustle.

Texags is a pretty damn impressive company - and they’ve done it without latching on to sites like 247, Rivals. Etc.
Maybe that’s what he means…

I believe Texags has derived most of its success through Brandon...Lucci is the face...and a dewsh.
I will probably be banned now on Texags.

Personal feelings about Liucci don’t matter if he is correct.
Is Liucci correct that the PFF- College account is a Longhorn fan account?
It would be good to know if it is a biased opinion masquerading as an unbiased source..

That was called The Dallas Times Herald.

Instead of throwing out vague accusations he needs to quit being a vagina and say specifically what he is getting at.

Liucci is defending his own company, just any of you would.
TexAgs is extremely important in NIL activities moving forward. The co-owner of the site is a lawyer, and they did a lot of research to legally set up the NIL-sponsoring Membership added to their site this year. This is all public info and it was approved by A&M compliance. This NIL-level membership is called Stacked. Alumni pay monthly fees (technically donations) to the Stacked fund, then TexAgs uses these funds to produce exclusive media content with current A&M players.
The reason TexAgs works profitably well is the level of commitment from alumni to organize and support Texas A&M athletics - this in the form of monthly membership for regular content, and now, NIL-level content. TexAgs has a radio/TV studio in College Station where they broadcast a daily radio/TV show for 3 straight hours. They also do tons of exclusive interviews across all sports.
TexAgs also works well because we have over half a million living alumni, with the majority being supportive of A&M athletics post graduation. This is why we are winning the NIL race. I have said it several times here - go ahead and copy the business model, but it will be hard to match the monthly subscriptions year round.

I don't particularly like or dislike him, but he has a very punchable face

This makes me laugh. Longhorn=automatically biased. Do y’all want to show me where there has actually been bias? But I guess for the groupies being a longhorn is enough

Yes, they did a lot of research of SurlyHorns Burnt Ends program and copied it.

What
TexAgs does more than twice the site traffic this site does, and has quite a few other ventures - mostly radio.
I remember wishing TexAgs would work to build up a site for other SEC posters to compete with this site, but they don't seem that interested. There is a forum for it, but it doesn't get much traffic, and there is no effort to try and pretend it's not an A&M site, like there is on secrant.

I obviously haven’t spent much (any?) time on texags but always assumed it was the 24/7 Aggy forum

Why would you? I don't spend any time on tigerdroppings, either. I think its weird when rivals fans get into another school's online community.

different products, different business plans.
Burnt Ends plan looks legally sketchy. that website is worse than myspace. Horns plan looks unsustainable. But to their credit, it made enough noise to sign a #5 recruiting class and scare 0-time champion Lincoln Riley away from OU.
TexAgs Stacked membership base looks way more sustainable, enough to recruit #1 recruiting class and melt 7-time champion Nick Saban on national TV.
