I guess you missed the second half where Murray was trying to beat Brantley for most incomplete passes.

As much as I hate to admit it, Murray ate LSUs D up in the first half of the SECCG. If your receivers could catch the outcome could have been much different regardless of what the final score was.

Well, I still think we would've lost simply because of how much better LSU was than us especially along the lines. But yeah it would've been close for a lot longer.

We had zero first downs in the first half. If we were down by 2 TDs our special teams would have to bail us out. Would've been tough. My point is that people look back at final scores of games and make their full judgement from that alone.

Our defense game up 182 yards and 2 touchdowns to Lattimore. His numbers weren't great, but it was his 2nd game ever. If anything, you can say our (run)defense lost this game.

It's hard to get past the first one. You score 6 points and you blame the loss on your defense?

I'll assume you didn't even bother to read what I wrote after. Because if you had read it, surely you wouldn't have asked.

On second thought, yeah you can pin that one on him as well. In his defense, it was his 2nd start as a freshman without his leading receiver he'd been practicing with for 2 years. And as noted, our run defense was awful.

But yeah he was bad in that game, can't really justify anything else.

excellent, excellent defense of mr. murray. AND, he has not killed 5 hookers. ergo, i'm gonna come out and say he's a hell of a qb.

The one that couldn't even outright win the MWC and ended up in the Las Vegas Bowl? Yeah, that one.

Thanks. I'm not saying he's the best QB in the country by any means, or hell even in the SEC..I just don't think the one major criticism he gets (can't beat ranked teams) is quite fair to him.
