This. The frat part of this story is irrelevant IMO. Im a drunk a-hole and wasnt in a frat and know drunk assholes who were. These guys just need their arse kicked. Frat or not.

Expel them from school, send them to Iraq or Afghanistan and see how they feel about wounded soldiers Those soldiers are the reason they can act like a horses end. Frat houses have turned in to nothing more than a drunken, vulgar and criminal house and a place for wild parties that usually wind up with people getting arrested and sometimes even shot.

I don't understand why armed service members are treated so badly.
In Albany we have the Marine Corp Supply depot and, in the past, every time a group of marines would come into the pool hall one of our local drunk guys would kick all their asses for fun. The marines finally gave up pool.

I doubt they are generally. There has always been some conflict between military and college kids (mostly enlisted guys) due to the fact they tend to come into Athens/Tuscaloosa/Auburn to party and are usually pretty swaggering and occasionally looking for a fight.
But beyond that I doubt there is much animosity at all in most southern towns.

but yea the rest is true. My frat had weed dealers on every floor and the best coke you could find in middle Tennessee. It was awesome

What happened is a complete disgrace, but being a current fraternity member at UF, you cannot label the whole school as a disgrace when it was a couple members of one fraternity.
