I know several that have those last names, and they are all spread across the state...so probably not the individual you are referencing. However, I wouldn't be surprised to see ya'll talking about it. Hollywood/Bridgeport and that whole area is like the wild west.

FWIW, there are a couple of posters on the Alabama scout site that are adamant that the rumor about Chris Keys being on the HBO special is BS. The same source (ITAT) that mentioned Chris Keys is apparently also mentioning Tyrone Prothro and Javier Arenas being on the show which makes ZERO sense at all. I guess we'll see though.

I don't think you can get pell grants and student loans when you're on a full ride academic acholarship. Those forms specifically ask if you are receiving other forms of financial aid. Not sure you could get aid when your food, housing, books, etc. are completely paid for. Correct me if I'm wrong though.

Did you know that at one time he was committed to LSU and is from LA?
Perhaps that's why......
Plus if he had an LSU offer it makes it even fishier.
just look at the controversy surrounding the last few recruits to leave LA that had LSU offers.
Jackson, Reed, and Robinson all had very questionable recruiting around them. None of it was directed at LSU.

Someone posted a picture of the old white hair guy from HBO talking to Prothro. But an article I read, stated that they were asking him if college players should get paid. I assumed they were asking him because his college injury killed any chance of a NFL career.
But idk.

Not picking on you or saying I don't like your attitude because I do, but I'm amazed at how non-chalant and dismissive Auburn fans have been about the entire as the plains burn rumors and the rumors in general. There's a mountain of rumors and smoke everywhere but you guys seem truly unconcerned about it. One mention of a former Bama player MAYBE being on the HBO show has Bama fans sh###### their pants and expecting nothing but bad things. The contrast is amazing.

Do you have any idea what his salary is? I'd pick up trash on the road if someone paid me $200,000 a year to do it.
