Except for his attraction to underage boys. But that wasn't as taboo back then and we probably shouldn’t apply current day sensibilities to Shugs actions.

Wow! Just wow! You are so ill informed, and what you aren't ill informed about, you just make up. Better to be thought a fool than to open your mouth (or type on your keyboard) and remove all doubt.

Peyton Manning didn’t pay anyone. And the lawsuit was against the school for “wrongful termination” basically.

Some Florida asses named it the Fulmer Cup. Everybody knows the name.
So, MrMojo, here's a test of your actual knowledge. How many times has Tennessee won the Fulmer Cup?

The Fulmer Cup started in 2007, so 1 year before he was run out of town by Tennessee.

Kind of hard for someone to win an award when they aren't a coach.

Incorrect. The Fulmer Cup was awarded by team, not coach.

Not true, sometimes the cost/time to defend exceeds cost/time to make it go away. Not to mention the risk of bad publicity.

No it doesn't.

It is a typical, toothless, jobless moron whose entire identity is based on bammer football.

Orgeron would never let anyone hold his beer. He would either drink it or smash it on his head. Get your facts straight, sir.

You forgot to mention the whole deal with Jeremy Pruitt was pretty much him.

The deal with Jeremy Pruitt is what got Fulmer the boot also. If he wasn’t a Vol, he would have been fired as well. But instead they let him “retire” on his on.

The deal with Pruitt come from the Very top. The school chancellor is the one that contacted the NCAA to get Pruitt gone. And it is believed that an Assistant coach is the one that blew the whistle that brought it to light. Some believe it was Tee Martin, but who really knows?
