That sound you still hear from the UA/UF contingent is silence. They're still holding that quickly drawn breath and thinking "mother of God".
Cam Cameron isn't scary try again
I'd say its more Alabama fans not giving a frick about our little Cajun brothers shiny new offense.

Also you felt the need to create a thread trying to convince us you're not comparable to Ole Miss.

LSU makes major changes and hires a big name OC because we haven't won a NC in a few years. We don't celebrate moral victories such as a "top 5" recruiting class or a "top 5 finish". We want to win it all and are not happy at all with a "top 5" anything. This is the major difference between the top tier; LSU, Bama, UF and the bottom tier; everyone else.
The irony is if we keep getting highly-ranked classes that tier gap will dissipate.
But for the most part, I agree. Ole Miss needs real wins to gain credibility, and we just don't have them yet. My angst for not closing a few guys on NSD equals my excitement for getting a Top 5/10 class. There is no moral victory in recruiting.
The average OM fan currently yearns for (along with winning football games) exposure, relevance, etc. We have a ways to go, but the trend is seemingly going in the right direction.

Our OC is now a bigger name and better coach than all the HC's hired in the SEC this offseason.
Yeah, you can't prove this, but if that's your opinion, so bet it. To each his own.

I have lost nary a wink.
We finished 11-2 with a bowl win and a top-5 ranking.
You finished 10-3 with a dick in the arse from an ACC school and a final ranking of #14.
Our biggest games of the year were beating the #1 team on the road and winning the Cotton Bowl. Yours was almost beating Bama.
There is not a rustled jimmy in sight from where I'm sitting.

Nice win for Ags in T-town. I'd bet the farm you don't beat LSU or the Tide again for a long time. You caught the Tide a little giddy and punch drunk after a big win on the bayou. That is unlikely to happen again. Chavis and Smart will solve Manziel, book it. Chavis already has. Talk trash when your school hoists it's first SEC trophy, otherwise STFU

Yet needed a fumble and a fg to beat that 0-8 in the sec team. Moral victory?

Oh you hired a "big name" OC?
We hired a new big name head coach, OC, DC, etc
Please resume talking about personnel moves as if we know nothing about them though

Lol, from his wiki:
Malcolm "Cam" Cameron (born February 6, 1961) is a washed up American football coach. He is currently the Offensive coordinator for the LSU Tigers giving the cajuns lots of false hope. He was most recently the offensive coordinator of the Baltimore Ravens in the NFL. He was previously head coach of the Miami Dolphins of the National Football League, offensive coordinator of the San Diego Chargers, and head coach at Indiana University. Ravens head coach John Harbaugh announced Cameron as the new offensive coordinator on January 23, 2008. With his teams securing a better than .600 winning percentage with him as offensive coordinator (100-57 regular season record in 10 seasons with San Diego and Baltimore), he is one of the winningest coordinators in NFL history. His record as a head coach, on the other hand, is 1-15.

I do think CC will be better than Krags, but still not "good."

About half of LSU's SEC titles have come after 2000. Congrats. You've been relevant for a little over 10 years.
