Dude, we haven't won a national title in football since 1980 and Kirby Smart isn't Mark Richt. Can we stop pandering these toolsheds and move onto something else.

Fields four throwing touchdowns this season came against App State, Middle Tennesssee, and UMass. Not really quality competition.

And what CHANCES should Fields have been GIVEN? He didn’t have Spring, Summer, and Fall practices like everyone else to develop?

Nope. Not until August. Don't act like you don't know how this works.

I could start troll thread #2,304. Would that be better?

I didn't know Chaney was the HC.

Who called the Offense? yes, it's ultimately on Kirby, but Fromm was Chaney's guy. He never seemed interested in developing Fields.

Dammit. I just turned this turn into yet another Fields thread.

Mark Richt 32-8

Kirby Smart 32-10

Richt at this point is better than Kirby.

OK. Now, name 5 coaches Richt wasn't better than after their first 3 years as a HC.

Sorry but results in the first three seasons of each are nearly identical.

Kirby was named the coach between Trevor’s sophomore and junior year of highschool.

Clemson beat out UGA because of their offense and Deshaun Watson. Same reason that Haselwood didn’t want to go to UGA.

Also Cam Newton could Have came to UGA and been the best TE in the country.... according to Richt at least

At least Richt was honest. That would have been Fromm, Fields part 1. Wasn't Stafford a freshman.

Kirby seem to be following Richt with his no. Use of Fields. Dabo changed to Lawrence early in the year because he knew it was the best move long term. Kirby was to scared to make that move . Even if Lawrence went to UGA he would be transferring like Fields because Kirby would have stuck with Fromm. Dabo thinks championship or best and Kirby seems to be scared of busting .

Dabo probably doesn’t switch if he has a better qb than he had

Because of that we can't exactly know what would have happened if TL had come home

Wouldn’t “coming home” have been Lawrence going to Tennessee?

Richt could not manage a roster to save himself. We played one year with like 65 scholly players. Literally could not put all the parts together at one time and ran an offense that required high level QB arm talent.

Kirby is an Infinity level ninja at roster management and is improving the roster every day.

Dream on, Kirby will get it done soon enough and you frickers last title will be ancient...

I'm pretty sure if the head coach says "give the kid some reps", the kid is going to get the reps.

Chaney has some blame but so does Smart.

I think we went out of our way to give Fields reps. Never in ally years of College football have I seen a program go spend far out of their way for one player.
