Knew before I even read anything in here that LSU fans would be posting more than anyone trying to say none of these count.
None of the Ole Miss national championships are legit.
Sorry. You can make the argument you got ripped off in 1960 if you want, but you can't make the argument you are/were the national champions that year.

Well frick the Big10, Pac10, and the Rose Bowl for making it that way all those years. But if any other teams have a national championship in that era, they damn well earned it because they had to overcome a lot of bias.
I could and sometimes do go on long rants about that shite. Those fricks have been blocking progress in football for most of history and have been forced into things like the BCS and playoffs. And now they are trying to shite it up from the other direction with all this AQ shite and so many teams to make sure they get a spot. Just like they wanted that AQ Rose Bowl spot.
frick em.

1960 Ole Miss was 10-0-1 and somehow 8-2 Minnesota was voted AP NC. That was ridiculous. 1962 Ole Miss and USC were 11-0, and USC was voted NC. Ole Miss has a right to claim both.

Texas A&M University (Aggies)
Their last recognized college football national championship was way back in 1939.

No shite (Well, for D1 anyway)

I'd count 1908 as legit for LSU if they claimed it.
Ole Miss doesn't have 1960.
A&M only has 2.
1957 and 2010 are the only 2 legit Auburn has. Although I haven't looked over there pre AP claims yet.
All accurate, but which Bama titles are you going to give up based on your critera?

Texas A&M University (Aggies)
Their last recognized college football national championship was way back in 1939. That’s the year the Aggies finished undefeated and were crowned national champions in the final AP Poll. There are some retroactive claims for early seasons (like 1919 and 1927), but 1939 is the last one widely accepted in the historical records. ?
University of Mississippi (Ole Miss Rebels)
Ole Miss last won a **college football national championship in 1962. They also claim titles in 1959 and 1960 as national champs under various historical rating systems, but 1962 is the most recent of the three. ?
By these metrics, LSU has 5 or 6

Anything pre 1936 is asswater and doesn't count.
The only time a team should be allowed to claim a national championship that wasn't awarded by the AP or UPI/coaches poll was something like 1964 where both polls didn't take into account postseason and in the bowls the #1 team got waxed while the #2 team won.
See: 1964 where Arkansas should have been the national champion
UPI Championships where you got blown out in your bowl game are totally real though, right?
All of A&M's NC's are undefeated. 1917 was undefeated and unscored upon.

It's a shame you didn't go to a school that taught you how to write the English language.

10-11 game season harder than winning a playoff? That seems dubious at best.

That website is operated by Turner Sports. It's not official or anything else.

1941 is bogus and Alabama should not claim it. All the others are legit.
